Maple Ribbon Platter
Description:
This delicate maple platter features two laminated ribbons made from cherry, walnut, maple and wenge that cross just above the center of the platter. The main wood of the platter has some interesting figure that is only accentuated by the laminated ribbons. Finished in with an oil-varnish blend and buffed to a pleasant sheen, this platter feels as good as it looks. The bottom of the platter is nicely finished with a subtle foot several concentric rings that show it was turned and not just sanded flat. A beautiful eye catching piece.
