Classic walnut with yellow cedar inlay
Description:
This classic shaped walnut box features an inlay made from yellow cedar burl. The inlay was completed using Chris Stott's window techniques, meaning that it is visible on both the inside and outside of the lid. The inlay is framed by a delicate bead, and another bead highlights the joint between the base and the lid. Texturing on the bottom provides a little interest when the box is handled. The walnut wood features a little orange spalting on one side giving the box some addition character and making it one of a kind.
