The base of this elegant and unique box is turned from a richly colour piece of black cherry (Prunus serotina). The base was turned from a triangular shaped block of wood, producing three delicate legs that gracefully support the main body of the box. The interior of the box and the underside are both decorated with a delicate texture pattern that provide a little extra surprize when the box is opened or picked up. The lid of the box has been turned from a piece of curly white ash (Fraxinus americana) and features considerable figure and depth. An ebony (Diospyros crassiflora) handle tops off the lid. The perfect place to keep you most precious heirlooms, or as a conversation starter in your office.
