Walnut hourglass with yellow cedar inlay
Description:
This black walnut box features classic lines and an inlay made from yellow cedar burl that complements the colours of the box almost perfectly. The inlay is framed by a simple delicate bead, and a small kerf separates the base from the top without interrupting the lines of the box. Texturing has been applied to both the inside of the base and top, and the bottom of the box to provide a little additional interest when the box is handled and opened.
