Small Shedua Ring Box

Description:

This diminutive round bottomed box is turned from a nicely figured piece of Shedua (Guibourtia ehie) that sparkles and shimmers when handled. A pair of small beads decorate the joint between the base and the lid. The lid fits with a easy friction fit that will stay in place in your pocket or purse but is still easy to take of. The lid features a subtle ogee curve on its top surface and slightly flared sides to make it easy to remove. Texturing on the bottom of the box and both the under side of the lid and the inside bottom provide additional interest when the box is handled and open. This box is about the size of a golf ball, the perfect size to hold you rings or necklace in your purse, pocket, or on your night stand. This is an heirloom quality box that will be in your family for generations.
