Maple Round Bottom with Black Palm Inlay
Description:
This round bottomed box is turned from hard maple and features a black palm inlay in the lid. The inlay is framed by a delicate bead and a ring of texturing. Texturing on the inside of the lid and bottom of the box provide a little suprise when the box is handled and opened. Two grooves and wire burning decorate the joint between base and the lid and match the inlay almost perfectly. Finished with lacquer and buffed to a high gloss, this box feels as good as it looks.
