Maple and Aussie Burl
Description:
This hour-glass shaped box in hard maple features an inlay made from Australian burl. The inlay has been done using the window technique, meaning that it is visible on both the inside and outside of the box. A simple bead frames the inlay on both the inside and outside of the lid, and two beads decorate the joint the base and top. Texturing on the bottom of the box provides additional interest when the box is handled and opened.
