Cherry Root Timpani Box
Description:
The simple, yet elegant box is turned from a piece of cherry root. The simple design really lets the character of the wood show. A small bevel highlights the joint between the lid and the base, and texturing on the inside of the lid and the bottom of the box provide a little surprise when the box is handled and opened. Finished with an oil-varnish and buffed to a semi-gloss sheen, this box feels beautiful in the hand.
