Cherry Plate with Curly Maple Rim
Description:
This plate, or shallow blow is turned from black cherry and features a rim made from curly maple. The base of the plate features a pleasant, simple curve while the rim slopes invitingly inwards. The bottom features a subtle foot that lifts the forms a little, and several concentric rings show that the bottom of the plate was turned with as much attention to detail as the top. Finished with tung oil and buffed to a high luster, this plate will only get better with age.
