Chechen Bell Shaped Box
Description:
This bell shaped box is turned from Chechen (Metopium brownei), also known as Caribbean Rosewood, features a simple raised medallion on its lid framed by a ring of texturing. The seam between the lid and base is highlighted by a simple grove that does not interrupt the simple lines of this box. Additional texturing on the bottom of the box and the underside of the lid provide a little surprise when the box is handled or opened. Finished with tung oil and buffed to a high sheen, this box is a pleasure to hold.
