Alumilite

Description

Alumilite is a polyurethane resin that is cured under pressure to form a solid billet. Alumilite can cast into billets that are pure polyurethane, but is most striking when combined with interesting wood or burls, producing 'hybrid' blanks - part resin, part wood. By itself, alumilite is colourless, but can be cast in virtually any colour by adding dyes or mica pigments.
