This little box is turned from a nicely figured piece of Yucatan Rosewood (Dalbergia tucurensis) and features a conspicuous patch of lighter sapwood that adds considerable visual interest and makes this box truly one of a kind. The box was turned in a way that ensures continuous grain from the body through the lid. Textured rings on both the underside of the lid and the underside of the base provide a little surprise when the box is opened or handled.
