Split Turned Scoops
Description:
These scoops where turned from plum (Prunus domestica) and black walnut(Juglans nigra). these scoops were turned as a pair, and then split apart before hollowing out the bowls. After turning the handles were sanded to produce the tapering beaver tail that provides a unique ergonomic feel. Finished with food safe linseed oil, the appearance of these scoops will only get better with time. Perfect for coffee, oat meal or other dry goods. The capacity of these scoops is approximately a third of a cup.
