This diamante bowl is made from Black Walnut(Juglans nigra). The form of the bowl is a simple pleasing curve with a small reverse turn at the foot to provide a little visual lift. Tee outside features a ring of texturing and was painted with sea green coloured milk paints which yields a wonderfully tactile, almost antique looking surface. The very bottom of the bowl has also been textured to provide a little surprise to anyone who handles and turns it over, and serves proof that the bottom was turned with was much attention to detail as the rest of the piece. Finished with several coats of linseed oil and then buffed to a pleasing satin sheen, this bowl is ready to go to work in your kitchen as single scoop ice cream bowl or on your night stand as the perfect place to keep your ear rings, necklace and other jewellery safe over night.
