Description:
This hard maple ring box features a Burmese rosewood inlay in the lid. The inlay is framed by a delicate bead and is unadorned to really let the chatoyance (shimmer) of the rosewood show through. All of the other flat surfaces (bottom, inside bottom, and bottom side of the lid) feature texturing or chatterwork. The join between the lid and base is highlighted by a simple v-grove.
