Iridescent Wide Rim Bowl
Description:
This bowl was turned from hard maple and feature a wide rim that has been decorated with several different colours of iridescent plain that were applied randomly over a black base. The form of the bowl is relatively simple, and features an formed ogee and sits on a ring style foot that provide a little lift to bowl. The ring foot is decorated with a delicate cove, and surrounds a textured medallion in the middle of the bowl's bottom. The back of the bowl has been finished with durable polyurethane, while the interior was finished with food safe shellac making it perfectly suitable for candies or nuts.
