This calabash style bowl is turned from a nicely figured piece of black walnut that features some spalting and a bark inclusion that has been filled with epoxy resin. The spalting and inclusion give this little bowl unmatched character. Typical of the calibash form, the bowl is slightly enclosed and the rim slopes invitingly towards the interior. The bowl is perfect for your favourite snack or for just every day use. Finished with food safe linseed oil and buffed to a pleasant satin sheen, this bowls feels as good as it looks.
