This trio of white ash bowls were turned from a piece of wood harvested from my wife's grandfather farm. Two of the bowls have the darker heart wood around the rim while the third was turned with the heart wood in the bottom. While each of the bowls are slightly different, but all are a similar slightly-enclosed form with almost perfectly round bottoms. The round bottoms make these perfect lap bowls for movie snacks like popcorn or pretzels or individual salad bowls. Finished with a food safe linseed oil, these bowls will only get better with age.
