This calibash style bowl is turned from a piece of spalted sugar maple (Acer saccharum) that features all kinds of character including several small bark inclusions. The bowl features an inward sloping and slightly under rim and a round bottom that allows the bowl to wobble pleasantly when placed on a hard surface or nestle perfectly in your lap. Finished with food safe linseed oil, this bowl is ideal for serving salad or side dishes at dinner or popcorn on movie night.
