Soft Maple Timpani Box
Description:
The form of this box in curly soft maple was inspired by that of timpani drum. The wood itself has some nice curl and colouration indicating the early stages of spalting. A simple grove delineates the top from the bottom and texturing on the box bottom and the underside of the lid provide a little surprise when the box is handled and opened.
