Iroko Ring Box
Description:
This iroko ringbox is simplicity at its best. The top is slightly recessed, but otherwise unadorned, while the bottom is decorated with just three concentric rings. A ring of texturing on the underside of the lid provides a little surprize when the box is opened. A small, square sided grove separates the base from the lid. While iroko has a reputation for being somewhat coarse grained, this piece has some remarkable shimmer that is not captured in the photos.
