Hormingo Bell Shaped Box
Description:
This bell shaped box is turned from Hormingo (Platymiscium spp.), which is also sometimes known as Macawood or Orange Agate The box featured a raised medallion in the lid framed by a ring of texturing. Additional texturing on the bottom of the box and the underside of the lid provide a little additional surprise when the box is opened and handled. A small grove decorates the seem between the base and the lid. Finished with lacquer and buffed to a high sheen, this box feels as good as it looks.
