This wood scoop is turned from a piece of Cherry (Prunus serotina) root which features a little curl or figure in the bowl. A scoop turned using Soren Berger's method is turned on several axis - the bowl is a right angles to the handle, and the handle features finger grooves that are cut on additional turning axis giving the scoop a unique ergonomic feel. Finished with food safe linseed oil, the appearance of this scoop will only get better with time. Perfect for coffee, oat meal or other dry goods. The capacity of this scoop is slightly under a half cup.
