This salad bowls was turned from a piece s white ash () that features some hardwood and a small bark inclusion on one side. The form itself is simple, with a slightly raised ring around the rim. The ring has been coloured with blue milk paint that contrasts nicely with the natural colour of the ash wood. The foot is a simple reverse curve that lifts the form off of the surface it sits on. The bottom of bowl features several concentric rings that illustrate that the bottom was turned with as much care as the rest of the bowl.
