This decorative bowl was turned from a Manitoba Maple() and features a wide rim that has been coloured with blue and green aniline dyes. The dyes were applied in random overlapping swatches of colour that provide incredible depth and visual interest The back of the platter is not coloured, and features a graceful ogee profile, a subtle ring foot and some texturing inside the foot to server notice that the bottom was turned with as much care and attention as the rest of the piece.
