Canarywood (Centrolobium spp.)

Description

Canary wood, also known as Yellow Tarra and is from Central America and northern South America. The wood has a yellow back ground with black and red stripes. The wood is moderately dense and works, sands and finishes easily.

Used locally for naval architecture, flooring, and veneer.
